Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality wishes to inform residents that the refuse collection services could not be rendered today due to the strike action that is led by COSATU at Gail Road depot.
Therefore no refuse collection round has gone out yet. Affected areas are:
Round 13 ( Govan Mbeki-zinyoka ), Round 16 ( Arcadia and Arcadia North ), Round 18 ( Salsoneville, Sanctor and West end ), Round 15 ( Portion of West End and that of Arcadia ), Round 11 ( Algoa Park ). Gail Road refuse collection.
As a result refuse will only be collected on Saturday.

Patrons should please keep them until a pronouncement is made on the opening of libraries. They should not worry about fines, our system has been set such that the items that are out will not accumulate fines.
