 The Council has received the following land related applications:

(iii) Zoning Scheme Departure (ZSD 4738): Departure to permit 0.00m on the street rear and lateral building lines and coverage above 50% to reflect the intent of the Cape Road Newton Park Policy Plan to develop the area for mixed use.

·         ERF 2379, THEESCOMBE (CF30/02379) (PV):

(i)   Town Planning Amendment (TPA 9474): Amendment to Port Elizabeth Zoning Scheme by the rezoning of Erf 2379, Theescombe from Cluster Zone to Rural Residential purposes.

(ii)  Subdivision 7556: Subdivision of the Erf into two portions, as shown on Plan no. 13072-2379TH-LOC.

Any objections to these proposals must be submitted in writing to the Executive Director: Human Settlements, PO Box 9, Port Elizabeth 6000 on or before 2 SEPTEMBER 2019.

 

SALE OF LAND

 

PORTION OF ERF 349, ALGOA PARK SITUATE AT UITENHAGE ROAD, SYDENHAM (CF01/00349) (Ref. 122)

 

The NMBM is considering leasing a portion of the above property to Pinmac Properties Ltdsubject to certain conditions.

 

Any interested parties are required to express their interest in such lease or their objections thereto, in writing, in a sealed envelope clearly marked with the description "Lease of a portion of Erf 349, Algoa Park", which must be delivered to Properties and Planning Administration, second floor, Lillian Diedericks building, Govan Mbeki Avenue, Port Elizabeth by not later than 16:30 on 2 SEPTEMBER 2019.

 

Any lease of the property shall be subject to the provisions of the Local Government : Municipal Finance Management Act, No. 56 of 2003, the NMBM Preferential Procurement Policy (as amended), the NMBM Policy for the Disposal of Immovable Capital Assets, incorporating the NMBM Land Sales Directives (as amended) and the evaluation and adjudication criteria stated therein.
